Botify on Stage at the NY 2016 Disrupt Startup Battlefield

New York, 9 – 11 May 2016: Breaking news from the Disrupt NY 2016 Startup Battlefield : our CEO Adrien Menard has been on stage presenting Botify - a Search Marketing Analytics Tool - to the international audience. According to the Startup Battlefield rules, he got only 6 minutes to convince the judges of our tool’s business value and to highlight the best of Botify’s entrepreneurial experience and hard work. His session was streamed online, available for thousands of viewers around the world.

“Hi everyone! I’ve been working in the search industry for ten years…And there is something nobody is talking about. Google can’t see and index every valuable page existing on the web. Far from it. On average, Google ignores 35% of e-commerce website pages", he announced. “Botify is the first solution that gives digital marketers the power to control how Google understands their websites”, he declared.

May 2016 seems to be one of the greatest seasons for our company. After winning the European Search Award for the Best Search Software , we were nominated as a finalist in the Best Search Software category at The Drum Search Awards 2016 . And this week, here we are, in New York, pitching in TechCrunch’s Startup Battlefield , in front of the world’s leading entrepreneurs and a huge live audience.

TechCrunch’s Startup Battlefield brings together the world’s top early stage startups to compete on stage for the Disrupt Cup, a $50,000 prize, and the attention of media, potential partners and investors. 508 startups have participated so far since the first competition, in 2007.

Top VCs and entrepreneurs, along with TechCrunch editors are among the judges. The participation itself is a huge success, because it opens the doors to the membership in the elite ranks of Battlefield alums (Dropbox, Yammer, Mint, Tripit, Soluto and other distinguished companies).

Botify was selected one month before the event. Selection, based on the company’s team, product and market potential, was highly competitive, and we are proud to get a chance to participate in the competition. Botify has been also granted an exhibit space on the floor of the Startup Alley.

TechCrunch has just announced the finalist companies, and even if we did not win the Disrupt Cup, we are proud to be part of the TechCrunch Community.
