We just raised $20 million in Series B Funding; Now What?

My Co-Founders, Thomas Grange and Stan Chauvin, and I are incredibly excited to announce that on the heels of a terrific 2018, the Botify team has just raised $20 million in a Series B funding round. We’d like to thank Idinvest Partners and Ventech for believing in Botify, doubling down on our vision and reinvesting.

We’d also like to thank the 100 truly incredible Botifyers that have worked tirelessly to get us here, and our 450+ global customers who help us drive innovation every day.

Making the SEOs life easier.

Our vision, grounded in technical SEO, remains to build a new standard in organic search analytics by giving SEO stakeholders the data, tools, and diagnostics necessary to create and maintain high quality digital assets for search engines and voice assistants.

In short, we want to help SEOs by building the next-generation, comprehensive data-driven, and user-friendly platform that supports their goals of driving the greatest return from organic search.

So, how will we continue to build towards our vision?

Innovating our platform.

We are doubling down on our investment in the platform. There are more opportunities and complexities in search today than ever before (javascript, structured data, mobile-first index, crawl budget etc…) and we are passionate about ensuring our product roadmap anticipates and represents this. With this continued innovation, we will become the standard interface between websites looking to maximize organic search visibility and search engines.

Building our footprint.

We are building our global footprint to support our global customer base. Our newest U.S. office will open on March 1 in Seattle and will be home to our growing customer experience and sales teams. Now with offices in NYC, Seattle, London, and Paris, we will continue to expand geographically as our customer base grows.

Doubling our team.

We will continue to build out our stellar team, doubling it in 2019 with new positions across every function. And today, we welcome two new leaders to our executive team: Rachel Meranus a veteran B2B brand and performance marketing leader, as CMO, and Christophe Frenet, a seasoned product, technology, and ecommerce leader, as SVP, Product, rounding out our all-star executive bench.

We’re also expanding our Board of Directors with two seasoned executives: Stephane Dehoche, a successful Entrepreneur who co-founded Neolane and sold it to Adobe (now known as Adobe Campaign); and Greg Coleman, who served as President for several of the world’s most influential media and technology companies including Criteo, where he successfully lead the company’s U.S. expansion.
